Give Them Wings

Days of Inclusion 2018 start – and this year we would like remind you that in order to give wings to our children, school needs the support of all of us – family, business and institutions.

For the last 18 months we have clearly understood that even a minimum engagement of the community in the school process leads to an important improvement of children results – a 50% increase of motivation for studying of children participating in our “School Makes Sense” programme.

The results of the programme aiming at including the community to school life through the presentation of different professions surprised our team too – we succeeded do decrease the class absences by 20% compare to the previous year.

We decided to inspire more people to support the Bulgarian school in its most important mission – to give wings to our children. Our team of educational experts prepared “10 advices how to support school” which gives various ideas for participation in school live of all who would like to support the work of a school.

One School for All

One School for All is our most encompassing and wide-reaching cause, our raison d’etre. Our ultimate goal is comprehensive introduction and application of the principles of inclusive education.

Inclusive education is a process of changing the school environment based on respect and acceptance of other people. It implies wise management of school processes in a way which makes children feel supported to develop their capacity and to overcome hardships; which makes teachers feel encouraged and confident that they are able to cope with the growing challenges, while parents are able to assume their responsibility and role in partnership with schools.
